Burst Poetry invites both writer and receiver into the immediacy of the here and now through rapid stream of conscious poetry.
The idea was born at Esalen Institute on a sunny morning as the fog was burning off the coastline, and is the ethos behind my latest poetry anthology, Beautifully Mundane.

BURST / VERB
To break open, apart, or into pieces usually from impact or from pressure from within.
To give way from an excess of emotion.
To emerge or spring suddenly.
