Moonrise

The day was unfolding as all good adventure do.

One minute expanding into the next, with no certainty whether everything will click or crumble.

I spent the day biking through a narrow road in northern Patagonia where a road swallowed in pine trees one minute would open suddenly to magnificent, translucent lakes the next.

Their blues mixed vibrantly as if they were the Northern Lights themselves.

As if stating rhetorically that yes, this is what nature is meant to be like. Glorious.

Filling you with awe.
